Been offered upsell  from inside to BA/BF Balcony $2049Aud pp. Any good? Anjo.

Looking at the 2020 cruise, the differential is just under $4000pp.

 

What would they say if you came back with a counter offer? Maybe include $500 OBC?

 

It could be in their interest to move you.

I would consider it IF I could pick the actual new cabin and it was acceptable location.

Especially if I was currently in one of the small 135 sq ft insides.

As Sinbad says, a few OBC would certainly help too.

I suppose there is value there if you want a balcony, if you don't care than save the money and use it towards other expenses.

Have seen most people getting move over offers. Anyone else on this cruise had upsell offer?

I have received up sell offers in the past but as we have already budgeted for the cabin we picked, we have never taken them up. We have taken a move over offer, but that was at no cost and with a nice gain. We have also upgraded ourselves and took advantage of a price drop so were happy to upgrade for no cost (or very little cost).

I've just been notified of my upgrade from OF to BC on Sea Princess. 😍

 

Only a two day cruise, but still better than a poke in eye with a burnt stick.
