Leon skylift excursion olden Norway

Recommended Posts

Hi looking at excursions for our upcoming cruise. If you have done the Leon skylift what are your views I'm a bit worried about the height but love the look of the views at the top

How long do you get at the top?

Do you have time to walk around and maybe a drink?

How many fit into the lift roughly is it jammed packed?

Any information would be great

Thanks

Definitely a must do. We just bought the tickets on the quayside from Olden Adventures and there was a shuttle bus running there and back all day. Stay as long as you like. Middle of summer holidays (both Norway & UK) and not very busy at all (despite two big ships in) Yummy waffles at the top which wasn’t as expensive as we thought they would be. Also kids picked lots of juicy blue berries at 3000 feet.

As EMJCruiser said, you can purchase tickets from sellers on the quayside or the visitor centre. You can pay by CC so no need for cash. If you leave it until the day you are there you can also check the weather, no point in going if visibility is poor.  I would advise wearing good walking shoes as it's a bit rough in places, there are marked trails up the mountain. The views are amazing! When you get back down, you can take the next bus back to the ship or have a walk round the lake at Loen which us quite pleasant.
