TheDougOut Posted April 28, 2019 #501 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Last day... let me know if there’s anything people need photos of or answers to. I’ll head up to Cavern Club after breakfast.

I’ll head up to Cavern Club after breakfast. I believe that one of the accessible Haven Penthouse Cabins (17130 or 18130) is open for viewing. As we are booked in that cabin in a few weeks time, would really appreciate if you could snap some photos if it is. Also, some shots of the Haven lounge and restaurant would be great as well. Your pictures are amazing and have really got us excited to board the Joy next month! Thanks for all your postings. They even updated the beer song to include her. 3 hours ago, Cruisercl said: I know she was on the Getaway in January; maybe she is traveling. 😊 Ok so I just figured out ‘Heidi’ is a casino machine. Is there something special about her I’m missing??

katmmoore Posted April 28, 2019 #505 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Is splash academy small like the deck plan or is bigger like the bliss?

I’ll head up to Cavern Club after breakfast. Would love to get more information on the Splash Academy. Specifically if there will be a guppies zone. And if not are the age restrictions very strict. My daughter will be 2 years 10 months at time of sailing. Hoping will be able to drop her off at least once or twice.

That one appears to be in the Haven complex... and there was a LONG line for the tours to get in yesterday. I’ll stop up just to make sure there’s no easier way to see the room. 2
TheDougOut Posted April 28, 2019 #510 Share Posted April 28, 2019 We’ll head down to Splash Academy (and the arcade?) in a few minutes. Entourage is a bit of an afterthought on this ship... a closet in the corner of Galaxy Pavilion.

Does it have a sofa too?
JVilleGal Posted April 28, 2019 #513 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Could someone take a couple pictures of the menus in the main dining room... pretty please! We will be onboard on the Dec 22 sailing with a family of 10. Can the dining room accommodate 10? (6 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Have never sailed Norwegian, but there is a first time for everything! TheDougOut Posted April 28, 2019 #515 Share Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) Splash Academy... they’re sending the first week’s schedule to our room, which I’ll post later. All the rooms seem quite large. Counselors include Purple, Wham, Anchor, Maze, Taffy, Midnight, Smoothie, Luna, Napa, Peanut Butter - with Gigi, Juno & Blush leading the teens. 6 to 9 year olds... 10 to 12 year olds... He had a great time connecting last time we cruised, and I suppose he's mature enough to hang with 18-21s if they have activities for that range, but just wondering if given that it's a Spring Break-time cruise next March, they'll keep high school seniors with the other teens. Sadric Posted April 28, 2019 #520 Share Posted April 28, 2019 So my so is 14 and this will be the first time where he can enjoy the teen club although judging by the photos it looks lame. Also to confirm...no basketball?

TheDougOut Posted April 28, 2019 #522 Share Posted April 28, 2019 And this is why specialty coffee can never be included in the UBP. The line in the atrium was a joke, so we came up to the Observation Lounge. I’d gladly pay $5 for a line-free coffee right now. 1
