Booked our first Jr Suite

We just booked our first Jr Suite onboard the Liberty of the Seas sailing in August!  My hubby got a Summer Sizzle promo from the casino for a free balcony so we paid a little to upgrade to a JS.  I know we get double points but will have to look into the other perks.  It is showing The Key for $19.99 and we will buy internet anyway so wondering if we should purchase The Key or will get some of the benefits anyway with a JS.  We have cabin 9348.  Also will be our first time on the Liberty.  Anyway we are excited and anyone having JS suite/Liberty info tips etc. let us know.  Thanks!

You do get priority boarding with other suites and can go through the suite security line, so not sure what else the key would get you. The reserved seating for key participants in the main theater is not needed nor in a particularly desirable location from what I saw. The first row of the normal gold card reserved area on the upper deck was reserved for key participants last time I was on Liberty.

Nice aft location on the hump. We've sailed in #9648 a few times and love the mid-ship location.

Just my personal opinion the "key" isn't worth it to us...but it might be for you...check out the details.

 

Keep checking the cruise planner for sales on the internet they come and go and can easily be cancelled online and re-purchased if you find a better price before sailing.

Enjoy Liberty .... one of our favorites.

Yep, Oasis and Quantum classes use a different color scheme than Liberty.
