What time can we drop luggage at Boston port?

We are considering taking the red-eye into Boston the morning our cruise departs.  We would get in about 6am and would like to drop off our luggage before doing some walking around.  How early would the port be open?  This would be our first time flying in on departure day and have many qualms about doing so. Thanks in advance for any info.

What day of the week would you be doing this?

 

if you want to walk around, I would consider taking the Rowe’s Wharf water taxi to Rowes Wharf where they will store your luggage for free, walking around that area (Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market are several blocks away), and picking up your luggage later and taking a cab or Uber to the port.  On a weekday morning this would avoid all the surface traffic issues.  There’s not much to see or do near the Cruiseport early in the morning, so really no urgency in getting there if you can ditch your luggage for free in a more interesting area.

We arrived at Logan around 8:30 and were at the port by 10 and able to drop off our luggage.
