ucbears22 Posted April 1, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2019 We purchased travel insurance through royal Caribbean for our cruise a couple weeks ago. Luckily we did because something came up and we needed to cancel last minute. The issue was not a covered reason (sickness, etc, so it goes in as an any reason) so we will get 75% back as cruise credit. My question is, can the 75% cruise credit only be towards booking of an actual cruise or can it be used for other things like drinks, excursions, etc.
Clarea Posted April 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2019 The FCC must be used to pay the cruise fare.
Maplemoose Posted April 2, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2019 Do you have a link for buying RC insurance? I can't find one. Only a blurb with no prices.

I believe you only get one shot to buy the insurance via the website, and that is when the cruise is first booked. You can call RC (or your travel agent if you used one) to add insurance to your cruise.

Royals cruise insurance is not available for Canadians.
