Did a one-week cruise around Iceland in August a couple of years ago with Windstar in a 200 passenger ship. Don't recall ever feeling any sort of rocking or turbulence.

Thanks. Good to hear.

We cruised on Ponant in June and were expecting some rocking.  We had seas that were as smooth as glass.  I really think that you cannot predict.  Take precautions and bring medication just to be safe.  Bonine seems to work well.   Iceland was fantastic.  You will really enjoy it.

The end of June, beginning of July, the seas were extremely calm! Only one night was there much motion, and that wasn’t side to side. (Personally, I slept right through it.) Our Iceland trip was through Tauck. I found the Tauck representatives to be wonderful. The dining room on Le Champlain was not well organized, and I found the food a bit bland and disappointing.

Iceland is so very interesting, quite unlike other places we have had the good fortune to visit.
