Anyone on the US based ships today?

Curious if they have the new Ipad Air 10.5 inch or the wireless earbuds......Trying to figure out my OBC spend.  Cheers!

Use care when purchasing Apple products on a cruise. We were told that the products sold were not from Apple‘s current inventory, and , in one case, we met a cruiser who had a problem with an i pad they purchased and when they brought it to a stateside Apple store they were told  that although they may have recently purchased the item, the serial number indicates it was actually produced three years ago.

I guess Celebrity buys bulk stock from Apple and then items are deployed to various ships for sale, until the entire inventory is sold.

Pretty sure if you buy the latest models it cannot be really old stock. They had the 10.5 iPad on the Edge in Feb.

Supply can be hit or miss, and stock can run out during a cruise.  We have bought an I Pad and an I Mac in the past to use up OBC.

I would love to replace my 2010 Mac book, but my wife has her eyes on an Ipad. Maybe we will need to spend some quality time at the martini bar.
