Settling your account at end of cruise

When you are on a cruise which is two segments and you have done both  when does Viking put your final ship board charges on your credit card?  The day of disembarkation of the last segment????  Thanks.

Last fall, we were on three segments back to back on Orion.  I’m pretty sure they posted our gratuity charges to our credit card at the end of each segment.

 When I die, my children are going to come in here and carry all of my little shoe boxes full of cruise detritus and start a bonfire in the backyard, a big one at that. At least I will die knowing that my mania to save all this crap did actually help someone.

 

Your onboard account will be closed out at the end of each segment. Gratuities are added two days before disembarkation and your credit card will be charged on disembarkation day.

Just off a back to back on Orion. We actually had to go down during the second cruise with our credit card even though it was the same one used on the first segment.

Yes, each onboard account is closed out at the end of each segment and agreeing with Stretchcruz, even though we had entered the cc information online I had to go to guest services so they could enter the cc number again for the second segment.  You would think the information would populate from My Viking Journey again.
