Embarkation tips for Brilliance

I am new to Royal Caribbean and looking for tips for embarkation day on Brilliance of the Seas in June. What is the best time to arrive at the ship? Are any restaurants open for free like on Princess Cruises?

"Free" restaurants typically open on embarkation day would be Windjammer (buffet) and Park Cafe in the Solarium.  You may find one of the specialty restaurants (extra charge) open too.

My tip would be if you go to the WindJammer, go outside all the way at the back for a nice place to eat & get out of the boarding day hustle & bustle. 🙂

Another tip is to go to the Schooner Bar on Embarkation to relax. Less people wait here than other places onboard. What you can do is make yourself a plate of food and bring it to the Schooner Bar to eat. Once the rooms are ready you will be ready to go. Another place to wait is the Colony Club.

We usually are on early for Brilliance, 10-10:39, hit Schooner and then Windjammer for the outdoor seating.
