Birthday on Voyager

We are sailing on the Voyager in February and one of the days is my husband's birthday (the day we are in Jamaica). We have booked a tour with Peat Taylor tours. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it special? How about getting a cake at dinner that evening to celebrate? Do I just see the Maitre d?

 

Also, if you've been on the Voyager, is the Jamaican day usually the Caribbean dinner? If so, perhaps I could make reservations to celebrate his birthday at Portofino's?

If you want a full cake, you have to order it and pay for it, which isn't worth it IMO. But what you can do is arrange with your waiter or headwaiter to have one of that day's desserts decorated for him, and have the waiters sing happy birthday to him.
