Seaside Spring Break Cruise - March 30, 2019

After the show, we headed back to the entertainment area to blow the rest of our MSC dollars.  The only thing we had not done was shoot pool so that was the night's activity.

After bowling, we played arcade games and made our way to the room.  It was past midnight and they were going to kick us off relatively soon.  Was not worried about being too tired because we had already decided to NOT make it all the way back to Atlanta in one day.

Well folks we have come to the end of this journey.  Disembarkation is amongst us.  Today we must vacate the boat for the next crew to board.

Not the TV show I wanna see.

We had an early check out time slot but our friends were not so lucky.  They had a very late slot.  We decided to eat a good bfast and then find a good spot to hang out.

Everyone is restless waiting to get off the boat.

 

 

While we were waiting I decided to sneak off for one last fix!

Even though we got off relatively late it was still a madhouse when we got out the terminal.

We were in no hurry as we had already made the decision to enjoy our day and make the trip back to the "A" over 2 days.  The only thing on our mind was getting some authentic Cuban sandwiches before we hit the road. We ended up finding "Sanguich De Miami" and it was right up our alley.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The shakes and real sugar sodas complemented the sandwiches very well.

After our lunch stop, we loaded up and headed to Jacksonville.  The trip up was quiet and uneventful.  Traffic was on our side the entire way up.

Once in J-Ville, we hit our next food spot.  This time was the Soul Food Bistro!  Food was top notch southern classics and the served heavy handed

After dinner we shut it down for the night.  The next morning we got up and finished our leftovers for bfast and then started the last leg of our journey.

I like to stop at the general store type gas stations.  This one had all of the good old fashion candies and some interesting animal artifacts.

When we got back home we made one last stop to conclude our vacation.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

This by far was the way to end vacation on a high note.  The girls decided they had vacated enough and sat this one out.

So this concludes our 10 day circuit to the Eastern Caribbean.  Thanks to all who followed me through this adventure.  

 

One last side note.  I did find my gopro in the car when we got back to the garage!
