Synchronaut Posted April 12, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2019 Hi, My DH and myself are cruising to Bermuda and have never been there before and need some advice. My DH is partially disabled and uses a rollator. He can walk with it for short distances, but tires quite easily. We would like to take a tour of the island and can't decide which tour would be better suited to him. The cruise line offers 2, 5 hour tours, one on a big bus and one on a mini bus. Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you.
1025cruise Posted April 12, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2019 Skip the cruise line excursion and book a blue flag taxi on your own.

eusftm Posted April 17, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2019 Second the taxi option. Rate is $50/hour. You can see as much of the island as you wish and can stop at many locations the "canned" excursions pass by. As for the busses.......have a back-up plan to get back to the ship. Just returned last week and there has been little improvement from 2 years ago. As long as they are running and are stopping to pick up passengers they are a inexpensive solution, but their service can be very spotty.
