What is the Customs duty for a week long Bermuda cruise

I believe for US it is $800 in goods, 1 liter of liquor & 1 carton of cigarettes per person

The ships used to give custom forms to fill out --But I think they do not do that any more ? Am I correct?

I was reading a review (the Gem maybe?) pretty sure they returned to NY & said that if you have nothing to declare you don't need to fill them out anymore... guess we'll see in 3 weeks 🙂

Rather than filling out the form, you make a verbal declaration to the Customs and Boarder Patrol Officer. If they think you are not telling the truth, you may be sent to the naughty room to be searched. .

Just back from the Getaway NYC to Bermuda (4/9 - 4/13/19)

 

We weren’t even offered a form to complete onboard and the customs officer never asked us if we had anything to declare! Easiest disembarkation ever!

off the Gem a month ago. They don't even leave the customs forms to fill out the nite before. At the Customs stations they just asked " what do you have ? ". Told them 3 bottles of cologne , a watch, & t-shirt .
