Juneau car rental vs taxi or Uber

We are only in port til 1:30 pm. Wondering if the car rental agencies run shuttle buses from the port to their airport locations? How easy is it to grab a taxi to Mendenhall Glacier? Is parking an issue if you drive there yourself? What about Lyft or Uber to get around? Is there enough time to do Mendenhall Glacier trails and visit Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure? 

I personally cannot see paying $47 per person just to ride a crowded shuttle to the glacier and back.

Not a direct answer to your question, but I looked in Kayak for the date we'll be there.  Car rental for 4 hours (we're also only there until 1:30) is $100+.  How many people do you have going?  According to this information, a taxi is $35 to Mendenhall, but I don't know how many they'd hold.

I just read that UBER and LYFT do not operate due to regulatory issues.  Not sure if that was up to date info or not.

Both operate in Alaska and have for quite some time.  Since mid 2017.

we rented a car from Juneau car rentals they have an office right by the port we have 7 people so we rented a mini van for 126.00

I have a car reserved with Avis for our July trip. Seems they have a summer location near the port so you don't need to get to the airport.
