Second Formal Night on HOTS

Is the second formal night on day 5 or 6 with the following:

Day 2: sea

Day 3: Labadee

Day 4: San Jaun

Day 5: St. Marteen

Day 6 and 7: sea

 

Leaving July 14 from Port Canaveral.

Definitely night 6 - given the choice of a port night or a night at sea, they "always" go with night at sea.

You can check the Compass for a similar itinerary.  But on a 7 nights cruise, 2nd formal night is usually on night 6.

Typically, Royal's 7-night cruises will have the second formal night on night 5 or 6.

Just did this same itinerary last week, the second formal night was on day 5. Also the second formal night was not the Lobster night. Lobster night was day 7.

Not having lobster on the second formal night is like petting the cat the wrong way. Why would they think this change was a good idea?  Very strange. . . 

 

I don't know how accurate (or inaccurate) the app is.  But the app lists lobster and baked Alaska on Day 5.

 

We'll see what happens.
