MamaTene Posted April 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2019 Sailed transatlantic from Miami to Rome March 29-April 12 with 3 additional days/nights in Rome. Love the Radiance class as just the right size and amenities for us 55+ folks. Cabins are average size with an outside with window our preference. Large window makes the room bright. We were on deck down from Guest Services and Centrum. Very quiet and private in spite of proximity to hustle and bustle of Centrum. Great shows, movies in cinema big hit with everyone we came into contact with. Food average fare in Windjammer and good to very good in dining room. Service there FAR surpasses Windjammer. CHOPS is a cut above..We did the lunch offered at 20.50 booked via cruise planner as well as the coffee card which is by far best deal aboard. Voom worked great..4 cabins in our Roll call group shared the cost 4 connection package with each of us having our own line/access. Doing her sister ship Brilliance of the Seas in Sept 2020 New England Canada roundtrip Boston . BOOKED via next cruise onboard. Reduced deposit, special pricing in effect and onboard credit.

Agree about the Jewel. She is one of our favorite RC ships.
tonyweir Posted April 26, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2019 We were on Jewel for a 9 day greek isles cruise in Oct 2018. Beautiful ship, excellent service and perfect weather. What else is there?
Iriel Posted April 30, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 30, 2019 So cool! I'm sailing on May 11. Do you remember the times of the shows? I'm trying to decide my dining time. I'll appreciate any tips 😁

I'll appreciate any tips 😁 The show times will probably be different in the Med. They are geared towards the fixed dining times and these are usually later on Med sailings (where people like to dine at later times) so will probably be different to the TA which would still be on early dining times which are preferred by people from the US. You will get better information from someone on a current Med sailing
