mosenga Posted April 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Aruba is one of our stops for a cruise. I've seen information on the all-inclusive De Palm Island. I will be traveling with two teens, ages 17 and 14. Is the resort mostly for younger kids or would they find the activities fun as well. It's fairly expensive, so I want to make sure they would enjoy the day before I plan this one. Thanks.
3ITTravelers Posted April 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2019 We were there about two weeks ago and my son, who’s 9, loved it. He spent all his time in the water slide area. There is a separate area away from the water slides where the beach is. There are plenty of loungers there. Most of the kids in the water slide part were young kids - not teenagers. I suppose if your kids like the beach, they would like this beach area. I did notice people of all ages there, though. Not just moms and dads with young kids. purplephenom Posted April 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2019 I'm interested in this as an adult with no kids. I would love to snuba there. I also want to try the air jumpers- is this mainly for kids though? I don't want to look overly ridiculous.
Rare mitsugirly Posted May 6, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2019 We vacation in Aruba and love DePalm. It has great snorkeling there, several beach areas and a zipline that would be great for teens. The water park is more for younger kids. All you can eat and drink all day. Also the Snuba would be a fun experience and we really loved doing the Sea Trek. It's a lot of fun and fish and props everywhere. HERE IS A LINK to one of the times we went there with tons of pictures. HERE'S THE OTHER LINK on a different trip there with tons of pictures.
