Day room in Miami

Does anyone have any experience with day rooms in Miami? I just booked the Hilton Blue Lagoon - but noticed there is absolutely nothing within walking distance for food which means I’m stuck paying hotel lunch prices.

 

I noticed that the Miami International Hotel also books day rooms and I’m curious if there’s direct access to the airport (like in Detroit) for restaurants. 

 

I only have from disembarkation until 2:00 pm to kill....and I’m not really wanting to do another bus tour.

There is a strip mall with dining and fast food options about a 10 minute walk from Blue Lagoon hotels (across the street from the Hampton Inn).
