called in at our TA today to enquire about a cruise on arcadia for october 2020  only to be told that our choice of cabins had already been allocated and some were already on the waitlist only been cruising for 8 years and never come across this before given that this cruise is still 17 months away given this situation we decided to book there and then  with a cabin on the same deck but on the oposite side of the ship wich we wanted my wife did not want to miss out on this cruise

Admittedly it was for three cabins together, but when we booked Iona on release day, we couldn't the precise three we wanted.  Still got three together on the deck we wanted of the same grade though.

Think it might of been a bit of corporate pressure by your TA to convince you to book by not being totally honest.

our Ta found us cabins on the aurora sailing 3weeks later to the same ports of call and that was cheaper only we could not make that date so do not think that was the case
