JoTreacy Posted May 1, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2019 Hi What time would passengers normally board Seabourn Encore at Rome if the ship is departing at 6pm on Day 1 of a cruise?
SLSD Posted May 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2019 When we boarded Encore at Civitavecchia, we arrived at noon and were immediately checked in and enjoyed a nice lunch on the ship.

rols Posted May 1, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2019 Boarding for all Seabourn cruises we've been on follows a similar pattern. You can usually board from about 12 noon, suites are ready about 2pm so board then and you'll be able to go straight there, board earlier and you can have your first of many lunches or sit around Seabourn Square. Lifeboat drill is usually 1 to 1 1/2 hours before departure so you need to be on board for that. We used to rush the gangway at midday, now we aim for closer to 2pm depending on when the hotel tosses you out. On our recent cruise which left from Singapore, our home port, we were still packing at 1230 and showed up at the ship almost perfectly timed to walk right to the suite.
