Pollypops Posted May 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2019 Does anyone know if Fred Olsen put on shuttle buses from Rosyth to Edinburgh? If not, how do we get into the city? Thanks.
tartanexile81 Posted May 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2019 Hi Pollypops, I know that Fred Olsen will be offering 2 shuttle buses this year from Rosyth Cruise Terminal to Inverkeithing railway station on your return. They should depart at 8:30 and 9:30. You will be able to book these onboard. Inverkeithing. is a mainline station with services around every 10 minutes to Edinburgh Waverley. The cost is a bit less than £5. A taxi to the station for up to 4 passengers would be £8 -£9 plus a small charge for luggage. it is less than 10 minutes away. The other option of course is a taxi to Waverley. When you disembark your luggage will be in the marquee on the quayside and outside that there will be a plentiful supply of taxis. For that, you should budget £45, give or take.
