6:30PM Flight Home out of FLL

Looking for suggestions for G'ma and 8 yo grandson for time to kill. Ship port is FLL,, airport is FLL

Thought about a post cruise excursion thru the cruise line, but they get back to the airport too early. Alaska won't even open to check in until about 4PM.

Can't get too adventurous, otherwise g'ma will get hot and tired, 8yo boy gets hot and tired,,,,, could get ugly 😮

Try booking a day room at a hotel.  8 yr old would love a pool, G'ma might enjoy an afternoon nap.  You can always uber/lyft to the beach or restaurant.  Day rates aren't too expensive for a day room.

She looked into that at dayroomstay.com and found a day room at Rodeway Inn & Suites. Actually booked. Then immediately cancelled after reading managements responses to TripAdvisor issues.

 

I've got some minor status with Bonvoy. Checking to see if any of their properties will allow her to check in at 10AM and stay til 4PM.

Yes, www.ResortPass.com definitely has better resorts.

The day the day room is required, opened today. Only 1 option was given and they don't have an offer if you have a child.

 

Will another option open? Or did all the other options sell out you think?

Check resortforaday dot com as well.  They have a deal for FLL.

Was able to resolve our issue.

Found dayuse.com that had rooms available.
