Montreal Airport

What would be the recommended earliest flight to schedule for departure from the Montreal airport (YUL) after a cruise?  I'm not sure of

the locations of the port and the airport as well as the expected travel time mid-week.  We may have to schedule a one or two stop flight

so the earliest flight may be the most convenient.

It's about a 40-minute drive from the port of Montreal to the airport, and that's without morning rush-hour traffic and our most famous festival: Construction Time! What time of year would this be? Since you will be travelling internationally, you'll need to be at the airport two hours prior to your flight, so keep that in mind as well.

You will also go through US Customs/Border Patrol screening if you are going to the US, in addition to the normal security, bag checking, etc.

I’m interested in the same question for June 2020. We would do HAL expedited disembarkation if needed and have a Global Traveler card if that is used at Montreal airport.  Thanks for any additional thoughts/input.
