Shuttle will drive thru two rows of baggage carts.  It will stop to unload you and your luggage.  Luggage will be pit onto/into the carts (ensure your luggage has your tags attached) and you will walk ~50 feet to the terminal.

Priority checkin is usually to the left side of the terminal.  There  will be signage identifying the priority line.

When we sailed last month Carnival changed their check-in process.  At the entrance to the x-ray scanning machines there will be a Carnival employee who will scan your paperwork and verify your passports.  Take your picture and then let you proceed thru security.

None of the 40 or so stations will have a single human manning them.  Totally deserted.  Kinda wierd for those of us who have been sailing from Baltimore over the years.

Anyway....once in the terminal head to the left hand corner of the room and you will go thru the door and will be seated in an area for suites, handicapped, Platinum and Diamond folks.

Have a safe and enjoyable cruise.

Which shuttle company? The one Carnival operates, or an independent company? I don't know why you would walk through "a priority line" before dropping your luggage off. You typically drop off your luggage to a porter who then you should (customarily) tip him around $1 - $2 per bag. You then roll your carry on's with you through security, check-in, and onto the ship.

Priority line/enterance to the terminal is the left side entrance to the terminal.  Right side is for everyone else.

There is no "priority" drop off area.  All drop-offs are dropped off between the luggage carts in front of the terminal.

Regardless if you arrive by shuttle, cab, rideshare, or by family/friend all vehicles will first go through the luggage drop off area. The driver usually pops the trunk or or opens the carriage storage area and the porters just grab any bag they see out of the vehicle. They don't always check for luggage tags so make sure A) that your carry-ons are on your lap, floor, or overhead that the porters do not take them by mistake. B) That your luggage tags are securely on, my suggestion is to get cruise luggage tag holders with metal wire loops, these can be found on Amazon, Walmart online, and some B&M stores with big luggage departments.

Yes, make sure you get in the 'priority' line.  Last time we were there, they directed us to the 'gen pop' line and after waiting for 20 min, they told us, oh...you want to be in the priority line....grrrrrr....so, to the back of the priority line for us....(as your looking at the building from the front, it is the doors all the way to the left) 🤬

Porters are usually really good about asking this, but make sure your passport (or other boarding documents) are not in luggage you are dropping off. Agree 100% about the metal wire luggage tags. One of the best $5 investments I have made cruise related.
