Does anyone know if drink  taxes are incurred while cruising Alaska?

In port in Seattle/Vancouver, and for a few hours after leaving either, you will pay taxes on booze and booze packages. I don't ever recall being charged tax while in AK ports or cruising AK waters though.

Alaska does not have a state sales tax.  A number of local communities do have a sales taxes.
