redrider73 Posted May 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2019 (edited) Is it possible to have your cruise card access more than one cabin? We have multiple families traveling together and it would be convenient if we could have access to each other's cabin. xDisconnections Posted May 31, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2019 (edited) Yes, it is possible. As Carnival uses locks from Onity and Saflok and their keycards are issued from PLI, they can be encoded to allow for additional access points. With that said, Carnival will not encode it for additional access points as a security precaution. When they need to run lock interrogations, they will not be able to see the true identity of the key used to enter. Instead, Carnival will issue a room key that will only be able to open the room.
