In Juneau we saw a shop called Changing Tides. It was in a place called Senate Mall, downtown. The captain on our whale watch tour said that area has many local stores and the Senate building has all local products. She dropped us off there and we walked back to the ship.

In Skagway look for the Rushin' Tailor Quilt Shop.  It is on 3rd Avenue just off the main street.  Nice selection of Alaskan themed  patterns.

Totally agree. We went there yesterday. Beautiful fabrics. Just wish I had more space. Some gorgeous fabrics from all over the world. I bought my quilter SIL some Northern Lights fabric.

I will be there in August -- it is one of my "must dos" when in Skagway.
