Crash1346 Posted June 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2019 Beware of: Raji Tours & Travel 9, Azzahra Street , Jerusalem 9720952 P.O.Box 67197 ,Jerusalem 9167002 T 972-2-6446279 F 972-2-5787766 info@rajitours.comwww.rajitours.com Tour operator had arranged to meet our ship when it made port on 26 May 2019 at 0730 (AM) hours. We had made a a deal for a two day tour of sites in Israel and paid in advance. The tour operator failed to show up for the tour and was over 3 hours late. The tour operator is now refusing to refund the advanced payments. We stood on the dock and watched other tour groups arrive and depart. After multiple calls to the tour operator some of our group made arrangements with another tour after waiting more than 3 hours. The tour operator had made several promises that the driver was late, had gone to the wrong port, etc. and said his driver would be there is 15 or twenty minutes. All of these claims were false and the driver did eventually show at 1035.

HokiePoq Posted June 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2019 Post this on Trip Advisor in the form of a review. I always research private tours there. Going to Israel again in 2020 so thanks for the info.
Rare Noxequifans Posted June 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2019 A suggestion. Contact an Israeli consulate in the US and ask for a contact for your complaint.
epixx Posted June 8, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2019 If you look at the company's website you will find that this is NOT a licensed tour company for Israel (no documentation of certification by Ministry of Tourism). As such, it is illegal for them to provided guiding services. I urge other cruisers in the future not to risk their limited time on an unlicensed, illegally operating tour company, when there are so many superlative licensed companies and private guides available. You might end up with a similar result to that described above.
dogs4fun Posted June 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2019 I am sorry that you had such a disappointing experience. Is there a chance for a charge-back on your credit card? As the previous poster states - this was not a licensed tour company.
