Horrible room or not?

I am in the process of booking my cousin on a cruise that we are all going on. The cheapest rooms are in a few odd locations and wanted some good feedback before I advise him what to do.

 

A few of the rooms are on the 2nd Deck and on the front corner (going the opposite direction of the other rooms) Good or No good?

 

Also, a few other rooms are beneath the 8th Deck which has the pool and cafe. Will there be a noise issue here?

 

We are cruising Royal Carribean if it makes a difference.

Which ship is this? You said "cheapest rooms" so I'm assuming you're looking at all inside? Do you have any cabin numbers? If I knew the answer to at least one or two of these, I could probably help a little better. Thanks!:D

Okay, we are cruising the Rhapsody of the seas. The rooms are 2509, 3501 inside staterooms. The Superior Staterooms are 8527 and 8515. These are the ones right below the pool and cafe. Thanks for the help.

is your cousin sailing alone--solo -- in the cabin by themselves??

This will cost 150% more then if sailing with 2 people in the cabin-- can the cousin squeeze into another cabin with someone else?

 

beinbg in 2509/3501 so far forward you will feel most of the motion. For some its ok-- its a rocking motion that will put you to sleep-- tohers who experince sea sick this is not the place to be.

 

being under a pool area-- you will hear scrappings of chairs when they set them up-- its not a big deal. and last for a few seconds.

 

my choice out of the 4 would be 8527
