We are thinking of cruising out of Bayonne, NJ and want to know the closest airport to fly onto ( we assume it is Newark, NJ and what is the best way to get to the cruise port.  Any suggestions of where to stay the night before?

The closest airport is Newark Airport, which has a large pool of hotels.  What is your exact date?  Number of people?  Hotel budget?  Bed size requirements?
