Has anyone taken the Princess post cruise excursion SOU-965 Royal Windsor (Disembarking / Heathrow)?  It's the post cruise transport to Heathrow that makes a stop in Windsor for a tour. We have the excursion booked, but need to know where the drop off point is when arriving at Heathrow. Terminal 2/3? Terminal 5? We are trying to arrange a meeting of friends, but we don't know where we'll end up. If you have taken this excursion or possibly the similar Stonehenge with Heathrow drop off, could you tell us where you were dropped?

We took this tour twice.  The first time, we were staying a few or four days at the Sofitel hotel right at terminal 5.  We were left off at that terminal.  The second time we were staying nearby at another hotel and just chose another terminal to catch a cab.  As I recall, the tour we took offered multiple terminal drop-offs.  By the way the tours were quite good with exceptional guides.

This is a timely post as I just recently booked the Stonehedge excursion that ends at Heathrow.

We are staying that night at the new Hilton Garden Inn (opening in July) at Terminal 2.

How and when did you notify Princess that you would want to go to Terminal 5?

Did you do it before you left or on the ship?

TIA

I've done this tour (which by the way was very nice).  In our case 5 buses left from Southampton, more or less simultaneously (the tour group rallied up on the ship and left through immigration together - very, very efficient I might add).  Princess made no effort to divide people by their ultimate airline or terminal which made loading up more efficient, fill the first bus - off it goes, fill the second - and so on.  As said, all 5 coaches arrived at the parking area for Windsor more or less the same time, before our bus had emptied the 5th coach was pulling in.  Upon arrival at Heathrow we made a circuit, first terminal 2, then terminal 3, then terminal 4 where we departed, the bus was headed on to terminal 5.  By the way, you leave your luggage on the bus and continue the journey on the same bus on which you arrived.

Be aware the coach parking is a fair walk from the Castle itself, I'm bad with distances, but better with time - we walked about 15/20 minutes at a moderate pace to and from.  There's a nice shopping area at the train station (coach park) a bit away from the tourist madness where we grabbed a basic lunch before boarding the bus for the journey onwards to Heathrow.

We did a similar tour, Heathrow by way of Canterbury. (It was from Dover.) The bus stopped at all the terminals. You got off at the one you needed.

BTW, a great tour, the best we ever had through Princess.
