kathbril Posted June 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2019 We were a party of 13 on the Bellissima last week (10 adults, 3 kids) and they put us at two different tables as they said the maximum capacity per table is 8 people.
Rare Stockjock Posted June 15, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2019 (edited) I'd shoot for a flight 1 pm or later and get off the ship early, if possible. Barcelona Airport isn't far from the port, but there can be traffic. Even more of a concern are long lines at the airport check-in and really long, slow lines at Customs. Finally SSSS stamps on boarding passes at BCN are common (here's mine - see photo), which is an extra-invasive secondary search that can add 15-30 minutes onto the process. We just sailed on Bellissima 2 weeks ago, so let me know if you have any further questions. Edited June 15, 2019 by Stockjock
Norwich Cruiser Posted June 16, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2019 We have cruised from Barcelona many times and recently disembarked Bellissima at about 08.00 into a waiting taxis ( there are hundreds of them lined up )€39.00 flat rate and were at Barcelona El Prat airport about twenty minutes later. We were checked in immediately and easily made our regular 10.50am flight without any issues. Perhaps we have always been lucky as we’ve never encountered long lines slow check in staff or pedantic customs officials our son had his carry on looked into but took no more than 2 minutes and in all honesty we’ve never had a problem.
