Rollator and Scooter

I will be flying to Quebec with my scooter and my husband will use a wheel chair provided by the airlines in the airport. The rollator is for me to take to fold up in a van for a tour in Halifax with Paul. He can't store my scooter. Trying to figure out how to take the rollator on the plane with each of us having a carry on and him in a wheelchair. Any suggestions? I guess he could just fold it up and carry it in his lap in the airport. Anyone done this?

I have, and it wasn't easy, but it worked.  I used wheelchair assistance through the airline.  They pushed me to the gate, but I had to hold my folded-up rollator across my lap - my cPAP case was strung across the handles of the wheelchair, and I also held my purse and cane.  I ended up with bruises on my thighs but it was well worth it to have the rollator on the trip.  Good luck, and I hope you have a wonderful trip!

I often cruise solo.  I take my rollator, but I need a wheelchair to get thru the airports.  Since the escort & I can't handle my carry-on bag & the rollator, I check the rollator with my large suitcase.  I have velcro straps that hold the rollator closed.  It hasn't been damaged by the airlines -- so far.

I find it a little easier to carry my rollator, whatever model, by folding it and standing the wheels on the foot rests of the wheelchair. I have my carryon in my lap and my hands holding the upper part of the rollator. I have avoided pain and bruising that way.

Sometimes the pusher prefers to push me with one hand and the rollator with the other, side by side.
