Aruba after dark

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if Aruba was fairly safe after dark? I am planning a sunset excursion and just want to make sure it's fine to be out in the evening and take a taxi back to the  cruise ship at about 8pm? Thanks in advance

Absolutely safe, just use the same precautions that you would use at home. By the way, everything will be closed but casinos and restaurants. Palm Beach is where the action is at night.

Yes! I was hoping to have dinner on the beach at sunset!

Definitely do that! I highly recommend Barefoot,  Passions, or Pinchos for sunset dining. Pinchos is on a pier, but has outstanding sunset views. You sit next to the railing. Passions and Barefoot are toes in the sand dining. Atardi is also toes in the sand. It is at the Marriott in Palm Beach, and is a little pricier, but very good.
