Has Port Canaveral updated check in?

I haven't cruised out of Port Canaveral in a couple of years but last summer when we cruised Carnival out of New Orleans we were amazed at the simplicity of the check in and boarding at the NOLA port!  Not exaggerating probably 10 minutes from the time we got through security until we were on ship.  They used tablets for check in, including taking our photos at the same time, and away we went.  Just checking to see if Port Canaveral has updated to this super quick and simple check in?

Yes they have! And agree it is so smooth now.

The process you described is being used at Port Canaveral. We have already cruised from that port twice this year and have a cruise on Breeze in two weeks.  As long as you show up during your assigned check-in window, or have some kind of priority, the process will be fast.

Well it looks like we'll be on same cruise!  lol . Thank you for your help, now I'm even MORE excited, just knowing how simple it is to check in now.

We arrived to Port Canaveral about 10 minutes after our check in window, it was still seamless going through the early/late line.  I don’t think it took more than about 15 minutes for all eight of us to get on the ship. 

 

As a helpful tip, see if you catch a porter when disembarking.  A porter flagged us down as soon as we got off, and we were able to fast track it through customs and not stand in the line that was about an hour deep.  He rolled everything thing to the curb for a nice tip, and we were on our way in no time. Best $40 I ever spent!
