StarryBugg Posted June 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2019 (edited) I feel like I have looked through everything, but I must be missing it ... Is there a way to see what type of fare/promotion you booked your cruise with (Early Saver, Casino promo, etc)? I honestly don’t remember what I chose when I booked it, as it was late at night... 😂🤓🤪😴 (Possibly needed details... Booked cruise on my own via Carnival.com, use the app and online browser, less than 90 days til cruise, Family Harbor cabin) Thank you! Lottacruises Posted June 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2019 It should be in your confirmation email, at the bottom in fine print.

StarryBugg Posted June 19, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted June 19, 2019 Weird. Mine doesn’t say. Just that I need to be a VIFP, which I am. I’ve scoured my documents but nothing comes up.
tmtip Posted June 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2019 VIFP is the promotion that you booked.
2wheelin Posted June 20, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2019 VIFP could be either early saver or not. There are other promotions within VIFP.
luv2trvlnow Posted June 20, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2019 Since the notes say it requires a VIFP number that means it is a past guest rate. It also says the deposit is non refundable which most likely means it is an Early Saver fare. You could call Carnival directly and ask which fare you are booked under. They will answer your question since you booked directly through Carnival and not through a travel agent.
MT_Sea_Cruisers Posted June 20, 2019 #8 Share Posted June 20, 2019 I have wondered this myself in the past and I just called carnival and asked them what promotion code it was booked under. They were able to tell me the code as well as what it included.
elvisrocks Posted June 20, 2019 #9 Share Posted June 20, 2019 My guest notes say the exact same thing as OP and I booked under a Casino Rate, so that tells me that they could have booked under any number of promotions. I had to call Carnival to verify which code was used.
