PVP

I have sailed carnival about 40 times and have used the same Carnival PVP for most of them. The problem with her is she never calls me about new sailings , last minute cruises that I asked her to, special pricing. I always call her. Am I asking to much out of her. I know she has other clients. Does your PVP go the extra mile?

My PVP has his own private Facebook group that he invites his clients to.  In that group he posts specials, new sailings, etc.  While I have never asked him to call me for last minute cruises, I would have to assume they have a lot of clients and don't always remember which cruises to call you about.

Yes, mine is great.  I have had him since 2009.   He doesn't bug me, but will be available whenever I need him, weekend included.    He also has his own facebook page and amazingly remembers so much about me, even though I only book once or twice a year.    I am sure he would let me know about whatever sailings I would ask him to inform me of if I asked for that.

Sounds like mine lol.  I only book one cruise a year, yet when I call him up he remembers everything.

Mine is fantastic he does remember to call me when I make special specific notification requests like "Let me know as soon as Journey voyages out of Baltimore are published for 2021", but would never expect him to call me with more ambiguous requests like let me know about any last minute deals. He has on occasion called to let me know about new casino deals before I would receive the snail mail card (he knows I'm not big on email sale notices).

Mine used to call me all the time.  Anytime I went on the Carnival website and looked at cruises, withing 48 hours I would have a call.  It got to be very annoying.

I receive emails from Carnival all the time with new deals and I receive lots of casino offers which I take advantage of. I check my FTTF account offers all the time. I feel confident I have enough knowledge and make our own reservations online without using a PVP or travel agent. With the many casino offers we book every year I do contact the Carnival Players Club to make sure I am booked correctly and have them send me my comps that I print out and bring with me on the cruises just in case. I do use a PVP on Holland America because I have to in order to book my special casino deals.

All I have to do is go on Carnivals site and do a mock booking and bingo, mine calls 🙂

Mine kept calling me every two-three days, trying to get me to call him back to book a cruise. It was so annoying it actually turned me off from using him and I booked my cruise online just to avoid him.

mine too and he is very responsive to messenger text and emails.  Love him!
