stamptherapy Posted June 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2019 Our cruise will be in Cannes on a Sunday - I am looking at a half-day excursion to Antibes and St Paul de Vence, and then I got to thinking, will shops and markets be closed on a Sunday? Are we better off just wandering around Cannes?
Ashland Posted June 22, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2019 We were just in Cannes on Sunday May 19th (during the film festival) but regardless of the Sunday you'll be there you should have no trouble finding everything in town open. We did a private group tour with some from our rollcall using Shoreexcursioneer to St Paul de Vence & Antibes...a great tour and company that I would highly recommend. Easy to book online with them.
Rare Hlitner Posted June 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2019 St Paul de Vence is the perfect place to go on Sundays with just about everything open. In fact, it is a popular Sunday place for many French. And if you are an art lover also try to visit the nearby Maeght Foundation. Hank
