ailmarsh Posted June 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2019 Hi Has anyone done the ‘Acre & the Baha'i Gardens’ excursion from Haifa? We’re interested in this tour but have read differing descriptions of the Templar’s Tunnel. The web site says ‘properly constructed walk way’ while the tour description mentions 1000meters through narrow passages often 4ft high.. or can we just miss walking through the tunnel & enjoy the rest of the tour? Thank you! Ailmarsh
Haworth Posted June 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2019 We did a similar trip with Viking, it is well worth doing as the gardens are beautiful and Acre is a small interesting walk, as I recall the tunnels were easy to walk through, maybe 20 steps down and back up as it is the same entrance and exit, I dont recall ahvint to bend or stoop at any point, we would happily repeat the trip.
