Snorkling Equipment In Grand Caymen?

I have been told on most Carnival cruise excursion the equipment is provided. I believe it comes out of a bucket soaking in a green/blue solution. I sure they are fine, but I think I will pass. I agree with bringing you own. It is in any price range you could wish for (Ebay) and shouldn't take much room.

If you are going to snorkel more than 3 or 4 times in the next couple of years, go to a local dive shop (Discount stores have the stuff but correct fit is hit or miss) and get decent equipment that fits you correctly. The extra money that you pay is more than made up for in the comfortable fit and the knowledge that you are the only one with that mouth piece stuck in your mouth for up to an hour at a time. (Don't let anyone kid you the solutions that they gear is rinsed in do not kill all of the germs as they are mostly just soapy water.)
