Glass bottom boats

I going to Airlie beach ,Portย Douglas, Brisbane , Cairnsย 

and Sydney ย and New Zealand. Hobart , Port Arthur.

Are there any glass bottom boats. I like look to see under water but canโ€™t snorkel.

ย 

Can u just walk off any port and see tour available at the dock. Any tour suggestions appreciated, I like to see nature and wild life.

I think your best opportunity will be in Far North Queensland with Cairns, Airlie Beach or Port Douglas. They are the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. If you do a excursion to the Outer Reef, they have a pontoon out there where you can swim, snorkel and scuba dive. They also have a Glass bottom type boat/ submarine for viewing away from the pontoon, there is an underwater viewing space below the pontoon as well.

I am not sure which ship you are on but most tender at those ports, so the excursion is best off with the ship as it provides longer times at the actual reef, as the catamaran comes to the ship rather than you going to the shore to get it.
