Upgrade bid response

We bid on an upgrade 2 weeks ago. Our cruise leaves Sunday, July 7th.  The website says our offer is still pending.  Will it change to accept or reject by the 48 hr. mark?  Should we assume rejected as it’s so close?  Anyone experience this before?   This is our first cruise on Celebrity so totally new to the bid concept.

We have bid a few times. Always got the rejected notice 2 days before the cruise. We will keep trying if the minimum bid is reasonable and we feel an upgrade would be worth whatever we bid. Good luck!

We bid 20% above the minimum for a CS and 2 days before sailing we were notified our bid wasn’t accepted.  There was a CS available when we bid so I guess someone wanted it more than we did.
