Sofa Bed Eligible?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what the demarcation "Sofa Bed Eligible" means on the deck plans for Oasis and Allure? We are cruising with friends next year on Allure - after her dry dock - and they are in a cabin that has this symbol. We are in the last two cabins on deck 11 overlooking the Boardwalk. They only have 2 people in their cabin. Do you think they are in jeopardy of getting booted out of their cabin?

Supposedly it means that there IS a sofabed in that stateroom, but in a stateroom which did not initially have one.  WHY they are using that phrasing, I have no idea.

So do you think two people in this cabin is a safe bet? It's getting to the point when there are very few cabins that absolutely only take two guests. They would rather know now and change to a cabin they like, then get switched later when choices are limited. We only like Boardwalk cabins that are right on the end with a view of the ocean. (I know, the Abyss will be there, but from deck 11 it's really not that bad.)
