Looking for recommendations for moderate price hotels in Vancouver. Also, which is the best area, Downtown? We are staying four nights and one day we plan to visit Victoria and then off to our cruise.  Thank you in advance.

The moderate priced hotels were booked months ago.  Downtown is the best place to stay and sure hope you’re not travelling until late August or September because finding a hotel will be hard this late in the season.

• YWCA for budget travellers... pay attention to the room type... you may be sharing a bathroom
• Raddison Vancouver Airport if you have a rental vehicle.  Free parking for guests
