A tropical wave southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has only a 10% expectation of development.  But its direction is toward Windward Islands or even the Leeward Islands with the typical curve often seen.  So we'll watch just in case something happens.  If development becomes more likely we'll close this topic and start a new one under the name or likely name of the system.

Slight upgrade in chance of cyclone formation to 20% over the next 2 days.  Nothing to get excited about so far.

This tropical wave has gone poof!  No longer on the map.  good!

Guess NOAA a little to anxious to walk down their storm list.

 

Right on the call for Barry as TS, fail on the Hurricane status, too late.

But should have Andrea as they pulled the trigger way too early in May.
