What ports were affected in this last hurricane season?

We are trying to decide where to go on our first cruise, but want to make sure we are going to places that weren't damaged by the hurricanes. Since this is our 1st cruise, we want the full experience!

Not knowing when you are going to cruise, it is hard to answer your question. The only port right now that suffered a lot of damage was Cozumel. They allow only a couple of ships there right now - and most tender since all the brand new piers were wiped out.

Before making a decision about Cozumel, I would read some posts on the Cozumel board. I was there the first part of January and it was looking pretty good. Tendering wasn't bad (I heard some people had a bad experience but ours was great) and Paradise Beach was wonderful! There is a lot of damage to trees, etc and Chankanaab isn't going to be up and running for a few months, but I'd check it out if I were you.
