Weather in New Orleans, Jamaica, Cayman & Cozumel 1st week in Sept?

Anybody travelled on the Conquest out of New Orleans the 1st week in September?

Our kids don't go back to school until the next week, and so it was the best time to get away.

Storm chance? Heat? Humidity?

Is there a website to look average tems up online?

I can tell you about N.O. and Cozumel the first week in Sept. HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT! (BUT, great fun, nevertheless!)

N.O. is [I]stifling[/I] hot with high humidity in Sept. If you're going into the Quarter, just remember that it's like being in a 'bowl' down there, no breeze unless you're on the riverfront, and very little there.

Last cruise (Sept.5), Cozumel was very hot, but breezes off the ocean were wonderfully refreshing. That didn't bother me; it's still better being on an island than back home! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

As far as storms, hurricane season is officially May thru November, so there's always a chance of one; however, do not FRET about it...my last three cruises have been the first week of Sept. with no prob. My house on the Gulf Coast is beachfront, so I face the possible danger several times a year. (The ship will be taken out of harm's way even if a hurricane or tropical storm does develop.)
