Advice please!

Could I ask the wise advice from everyone on here?

 

My friend who is not on CC  is wondering about a cruise with SB from Sydney to Auckland in 2020. It departs on Feb 5th and docks in Auckland on Feb 21st. I just wondered if anyone has done this crossing and what the weather is like? (She is like me, likes outdoor eating and relaxing which SB do so well!) Thanks in advance!

We did this on Seabourn this past March from Auckland to Sydney and it was fine.   The ship handled the waves, which I guess are common here, beautifully!  The Encore is an amazing ship!

You’ll have an interesting mix of warm sunny days and cool rainy days, especially in the south of New Zealand.  Then again - you may just be very lucky or very unlucky.  The Tasman is unpredictable.

We did this same cruise this year.  The above advice is spot on. February down under is summer but tell your friend to pack for 60 to 80 degree weather.
