jsiegel Posted August 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2019 I'm considering a Nat Geo Galapagos cruise. Do you recommend booking directly with National Geographic/Lindblad or through a travel agent. Benefits of either? Thanks, Jackie
califsealion Posted August 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2019 I have done a handful of Lindblad cruises and have always booked directly through them. I've never had a travel agent, so I'm not sure what the benefits in that direction are. I've never had a problem with the direct booking and they have always been helpful working with the dates I'm looking at and all that.
Boatdrill Posted September 25, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2021 Help save someone's job, and book through a travel agent. 🙂
jsiegel Posted September 27, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted September 27, 2021 Just want to update everyone on my decision. I contacted a travel agent and he offered me choices of various options for Galapagos and we decided on a cruise line that offered a better itinerary for about the same price as Nat Geo. I never would have considered other options had I not contacted an agent. We go this coming February, 2022 for two weeks.

Two one week cruises, outer loop and inner loop. So a couple more stops than the 10 day Lindblad.
